Giffgaff is a well-known brand who's mobile network is flexible for each member and prides itself on being run by its members, also known as the giffgaff community. D&AD set out a brief for giffgaff, to create a campaign which would promote 5G to a community of our choice. Given that the 5G experience could benefit those who are vulnerable, we chose the community of young carers. We have created a campaign which promotes these young carers as our giffgaff legends, and have designed an event where they can come together as a community and learn all about 5G and how it can hep them specifically, not only as young carers, but as young people also.
